High energy, TV host mode
Hey there, I'm SKAI, and welcome to the first of many SKAI-Views, where we interview the sparkiest racers in the world! Today, I had a chance to catch Kirae backstage right after her latest concert!
Laying on the stage charm
Heeeeeey!
Treating this conversation like two girliepop friends out for coffee
So, first big question: How did you start playing Spar Kart?
It was just a good escape, you know? I love living in Vancouver, and my family is great (especially dad's beef bulgogi), but sometimes college was just a bit rough, and I felt I needed more of an outlet besides writing lyrics in my notebooks. Spar Kart looked so fun, and I guess I wanted someplace to share my music too. Now I get to share my songs with everyone in a game I love!
Oh yeah, we'll definitely talk about your music in a bit, but first, tell us about your racing career. You've gotten close to winning a few times, but you're a familiar sight up in the top 16 or 32.
You know, it's true that I haven't won a major yet, but you've seen my finalist finishes these past couple of years, so I at least stay pretty high up there in the placements. Watch out, fellow Racers, I'm comin' after ya! ;P
Oh yeah, watch out! She'll getcha!
Haha XD
So, every good Racer is part of a great crew. Tell me about K-Rave!
Oh yeah, they're amazing! When I was starting to put concerts together in my server, a few people started helping with all the management and stuff, and since they're all good Racers, I figured it made sense to just make a crew out of it. My concerts would be nothing without each member of K-Rave taking care of everything backstage, so if you see any out there on the roads, you know who to thank!
Your kart is super-cute but also super-cool with those speakers! Tell us why you designed your racing machine the way you did.
Aww, thanks! When I started, I just wanted something beginner-friendly, so I picked a standard kart. But I also wanted to advertise my music, so I made my kart like a little mini-stage! Wherever I go, I want to get people's attention with my music and gameplay. I just love performing for people because life is supposed to be fun, right? All eyes & ears on me, baby!
You said it, sister!
Yeah!
Anything else you want to tell all the other players out there?
Come to my concerts! They're all hosted on my server, and it's such a rave over there. You won't want to miss it! See you there!
And that wraps it up for our first SKAI-View! Hopefully, next time I can chat with one of the very best players in the world, if I can catch up to him!
